Tradition Meets Creativity: Cheesemaking & Contemporary Art in Tuscany

This activity will take place in English.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind experience that brings together authentic traditions, rich local flavors, and inspiring contemporary art—all in one unforgettable day.

We’ll begin with a visit to a remarkable farm, home to a lively herd of 150 sheep. You’ll meet the animals and get a behind-the-scenes look at daily life on a working farm that produces both cheese and olive oil.

Enjoy an exclusive live demonstration with Stefano, the farm’s passionate cheesemaker, as he reveals the secrets of traditional Tuscan cheese-making. Then, savor a tasting of local specialties including caciotta, pecorino, and Stefano’s own unique creations—a true celebration of the region’s finest agri-products and artisanal craftsmanship.

Following the tasting, we’ll gather for a delicious lunch made with fresh, seasonal ingredients—sourced directly from the farm and nearby producers.

In the afternoon, the experience continues at the Gori Foundation’s Contemporary Art Park, nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Villa Celle, near Pistoia. This extraordinary open-air museum features monumental, site-specific artworks by internationally acclaimed artists, thoughtfully integrated into the natural surroundings of woods, meadows, and historic architecture. A guided tour will bring these works to life, offering insights into the fusion of art and environment.

A day to nourish your senses, spark your curiosity, and deepen your connection to Tuscany.
